Your English Errors Corrected

written by Lilian Ndongmo. ESL Teacher

When learning a new language, it’s OK to make mistakes, but it’s not OK when you don’t learn from them and correct yourself.

WHY?
Well, because
1. You will keep making the same mistakes every time.
2. You will make the same mistake when you speak and write.
3. Even when you listen to or read the right sentence, you will not realise it because your brain has already registered the mistake and stored it in a nice little corner.
Consequently, your English will not improve.

Language errors are like a wine stain; the longer you wait to take it out, the harder it would be to wash it off.

Don’t let mistakes stifle your progress. Don’t get stuck with them!
